Six new members elected to the Academy of Sciences and Literature | Mainz
The Academy of Sciences and Literature has accepted six new members. Full members now include Japanologist Judit Árokay, authors Marica BodrožiĆ and Dörte Hansen, sociologist Irena Kogan, and Slavicist Dirk Uffelmann. Computer scientist Bernhard Schölkopf was elected as a corresponding member.
The Academy of Sciences and Literature is divided into three classes: the Mathematical and Natural Sciences Class, the Humanities and Social Sciences Class, and the Literature and Music Class.
