The hype around AI companies and software has driven PC component prices through the roof, seeing triple-digit percentage increases in just a few months. This means that gamers and home PC users alike are being priced out of DIY builds and upgrades as RAM and SSDs are getting reserved for data centers.
While the Amazon Spring Sale has ended, I've managed to find a handful of decent markdowns on DDR5 RAM kits from brands like Corsair, Kingston, and more. Don't use Amazon? Best Buy has plenty of deals of its own on RAM kits for both desktops and laptops to help keep your build budget under control. How do I find the best DDR5 RAM deals during the Amazon Spring Sale?
If you're dreading the idea of sifting through countless electronics deals on the Amazon Spring Sale page for the chance of finding the good stuff, there's a much better way to find steep markdowns. I've found the fastest way to find deals is to search by brand name and then use filters to only show items that are on sale. Then you can pick out a few of the deepest discounts to compare to other retailers and make sure you're getting the best price.
When is the next Amazon Prime Day sale?
There hasn't been an official announcement on when the next Prime Day will be, but in recent years, Amazon has been fairly consistent with holding the sale in July. And if you can't wait until the summer to upgrade your PC or replace other devices, you'll have plenty of chances to save with one-off deals and smaller sale events in the meantime.
