The Illusion of Data Custody in Legal AI — and the Architecture I Built to Replace It

**There is a moment every legal AI founder eventually has to confront.

You have built a capable system. The retrieval is good. The citations hold up. The interface is clean. A lawyer uploads a sensitive client document and asks a question. The system answers correctly.

Then they ask: what happens to this document when I delete it?
And that is where most legal AI products fail quietly.

Not because the founders were careless. Because they treated data custody as a policy question rather than an architecture question. They added a delete button, wrote a privacy policy, and moved on.

This article is about what I built instead — and why the distinction between a deletion confirmation and a cryptographic Destruction Receipt matters enormously in legal contexts.

CADReasoner: Iterative Program Editing for CAD Reverse Engineering
arXiv:2603.29847v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Computer-Aided Design (CAD) powers modern engineering, yet producing high-quality parts still demands substantial expert effort. Many AI systems tackle CAD reverse engineering, but most are single-pass and miss fine geometric details. In contrast, human engineers compare the input shape with the reconstruction and iteratively modify the design based on remaining discrepancies. Agent-based methods mimic this loop with frozen VLMs, but weak 3D grounding of current foundation models limits reliability and efficiency. We introduce CADReasoner, a model trained to iteratively refine its prediction using geometric discrepancy between the input and the predicted shape. The model outputs a runnable CadQuery Python program whose rendered mesh is fed

Enabling Programmable Inference and ISAC at the 6GR Edge with dApps
arXiv:2603.29146v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: The convergence of communication, sensing, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Radio Access Network (RAN) offers compelling economic advantages through shared spectrum and infrastructure. How can inference and sensing be integrated in the RAN infrastructure at a system level? Current abstractions in O-RAN and 3GPP lack the interfaces and capabilities to support (i) a dynamic life cycle for inference and Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) algorithms, whose requirements and sensing targets may change over time and across sites; (ii) pipelines for AI-driven ISAC, which need complex data flows, training, and testing; (iii) dynamic device and stack configuration to balance trade-offs between connectivity, sensing, and inference serv
